They were originally conceived as a studio band, and played live originally between 2012-2013, during 2017 they reunited released new material a got people dancing!<\/span><\/p><blockquote><p><span style=\"display:block;\">\"If you're not dancing ... You must be dead\" - <\/span><strong><span style=\"display:block;\">Replaced By Robots<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><p><\/p><p><em><span style=\"text-align:left;display:block;\">\"The first time I saw them live was at their second gig, back in May 2012. It was a squatted gig in Aberdare Park, of all places, and a great way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon. Since then the line-up has changed (Craig Chapman lives in Brighton), but the creative core of the band \u2013 Andrew Llewellyn, Wayne and Doz \/ Dorian Richard Holmes \u2013 are still intact. Replaced By Robots play electro-dance music underpinned by strong keyboard lines, but with two guitarists, a bass player, a real drummer, and Doz (a noisy bugger) fronting things up. They\u2019re a terrific band live, and always pull a crowd.\"<\/span><\/em><\/p><p><em><span style=\"display:block;\">\"Replaced By Robots get people dancing , which is the whole object of the exercise. As anyone who\u2019s seen the Robots before will know, bedlam erupts during their final song, \u2018Transmissions From a Digital Heart\u2019. With massive balloons chucked around, Liz Bassett leaping around with a cardboard robot head on her head and general havoc breaks out, it is the perfect way to end the gig.
